Sales forecasting is one of the main responsibilities of sales managers.
Periodically, each sales person is asked to put together their
forecasted sales numbers for a given time period (monthly, quarterly,
annual). Those numbers are consolidated by department, product/service
type, etc. and reviewed by sales managers and senior management. Sales
people are asked to adjust their numbers based on feedback from their
managers. This is an iterative and lengthy process. This template is
designed to collect monthly sales data for each product by each Sales
Person for a given year.
